NFTS
A collection of B&W photos of Paris with a dash of RED. I traveled across Europe with little more than a Eurail Pass, a journal, Kerouac’s “On the Road,” and my 35mm camera on the eve of my 25th birthday. I’ve since been back ten times, each more special and unique than the last.
I shoot both color and black and white. I’ve used thousand-dollar cameras, iPhones, and even a disposable camera I bought at a corner store in Rome when someone stole my camera on a train. Each format has its unique characteristics and traits. I love black and white photography on my 35mm camera the best.
Why add red? Red has a range of symbolic meanings in many different cultures, including life, health, vigor, war, courage, anger, love, and religious fervor. The common thread is that all these require passion. The passion for creating, telling stories, and inspiring others along the way excites me the most.
