To be honest, the December Exhibit was a challenge for me. It was the first time I had a solo show — that meant it was all about me. The night was full of challenges but ultimately so satisfying. We found out less than 24 hours before the show that SoCal Edison was shutting off power on that street to run routine tests. My friend Bailey Williams and I rented a generator and put up lights to prepare for this snafu. All went as planned until the generator kept shutting off and I’d have to run out to start it back up. Ironically I think it added to the ambiance of the night and nobody seemed to mind.
